Despite all my woes with citrix at the moment I'm feeling chuffed that I worked out how to make file associations for MS Office via playonlinux. What I would like to know is how to change the file icon to that of the corresponding MS Office application as opposed to a generic one for all text type docs e.g. the Libre Office Writer and MS Word icons are identical.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Cheers, Chris

Re: Changing File Icons Mint 15 KDE
I tested with a .xslx and a .ods spreadsheet file. I can set the .xslx file to a different icon. Just right-click the file, select properties, click the big shining "File Type Options" button and click the icon there to change it. You could have found this yourself I think, just learn to click around a bit more. I had no clue, and found it that way.
