Lost sound (SOLVED)

Post by riki »

LM 13 Maya. Suddenly lost sound, dead. The levels are OK and not muted. It happened whilst I was watching a football match. I also have Mint14 and 15 on the same machine without any problems. Any ideas? Thanks.

Found the reason. Device had changed (not my doing) to HDA NVidia (Alsa mixer). I changed back to Built-in Audio Analogue Stereo (PulseAudio mixer) and bingo sound is restored. My thanks to all those who have tried to help me.
