any streaming TV application??

Is there any application that allows me to watch all of the online channels via my broadband??

The standard applications should do it as long as you get an IP
(or am I missing something?)

yes ive tried Miro, its no good. I want live TV, whereas miro first downloads the shows and then shows it, i want to watch live channels over the internet.

and is there any application that can do this?

for example a streaming live tv channel will be http://www.geo.tv/geoip/

mplayer, totem vlc will do it
I get it to work but my connection is somewhat to slow for a good result

If they have an URL you can either navigate there with Firefox ar open the URL directly in the application
