Hi all.

I've been a mint user for about 4 months now and to tell the truth it has almost everything I need and runs well. What would be really useful is to be able to run SPSS on my machine too.

The university I study at has SPSS for windows and I can get that free but to be honest, Id much rather run it in mint. Im really not a fan of windows on any level. I was aware of a similar package called pspp but to be honest, my exams involve the use of the original so I need to practice on that. Ive never been successful setting up wine either!

Any suggestions all?

I have the same problems, I never got SPSS fully operational in Wine. I don't think it's possible.

There is SPSS for Linux, doesn't hurt to ask your university for a copy. That or find a copy via torrent.
