Still unable to update (Solved)

I seem to have terminal repeatedly ask me to update. I have been using terminal and Linux systems for a while but I am still learning the basics. Please understand that I will do my best to understand.

What I understand is that there are duplicate packages that I need to uninstall. Is there anyway I can uninstall them in terminal?

They are identical "repository" entries in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list. Not duplicate packages. These repos tell the system where to look for updates and where to look for new packages that you install.

So you added some new ones intentionally. Maybe you did it with a "add-apt-repository" command more than once with the same one?

Edit this file and get rid of the dups.

The command "pluma" did not work so I used the command "nano" bringing up a text editor to delete the repeats.

Its was one of those moments that I feel like I am lost. Thanks for your help.
