Netflix Desktop + Hulu

Hey,

I'm using Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon 64-bit, Cinnamon Verson 2.2.16.

I've downloaded Netflix Desktop. It works great on it's own. When I try to downlad Hulu with Netflix Desktop's Firefox browser, a window pops up reading "Please update your browser".

This is where I'm lost. When I choose to download the latest version of Firefox and run the .sh, it updates Firefox, and not Netflix Desktop (which is Firefox, with modified settings to allow you to watch Netflix). Has anybody had this problem before, and/or knows how I could fix it?

I haven't run into that problem on Firefox, so I can't help, but if you want straightforward access to Netflix and Hulu Plus in a browser, I suggest downloading and installing Google Chrome. Both will work automatically, avoiding the finagling around you usually have to do on Firefox in Linux. Good luck.

I second the use of Chrome in this instance. I use Firefox for everything else but keep Chrome installed for just this reason.

I would like to get Netflix working on my Linux 17 Cinnamon 64 and can try Chrome - However before trying please can anyone tell me if Chrome loads completely separate to Chromium? - I would hate to muck things up on my existing Chromium settings.
Thanks Paul
