How do I upgrade spotify

Hi I'm running “linux mint 17.1 cinnamon 32-bit” on my desktop. I just installed spotify and it gives me an older version “spotify version 0.9.4.183” how do I upgrade to the newer “spotify version 0.9.11.27”

I tried that and I still get the older version

Then that is probably the only version of Spotify that is available for Linux (at the moment). Per the website, these are experimental builds. I suspect that the linux version that they are propogating is significantly behind the "Windows" production version.

What's not working for you in the Linux version?
