Running Linux Mint 17 XFCE edition for quite some time. Running fine.
Since day one I have Firefox and Chromium installed.
Firefox's Flash player has been running fine + I installed PepperFlash for Chromium. It would be difficult for me to run without Flash (unfortunately).
All was running fine since the latest Flash Player package update. I noticed it is now called a bit different (previously its name contained the version as per the Adobe's site).
Since then, Chromium no longer recognizes PepperFlash. Chromium thinks its Adobe Flash is version 11.2 just like Firefox. I can see this from www.whatismybrowser.com and from chrome://plugins commands
What I did - tried to update PepperFlash, to re-install it. I completely removed Firefox, Chromiun and re-installed them. Removed all Adobe Flash, PepperFlash, mint meta codes, mint-flash-player-steam . Re-installed them and still the same. The new adobe flash player breaks it all.
Anybody have any suggestions ? Every idea
