17.2 KDE Alt+D = ???

Post by jgagnon »

I'm running Linux Mint 17.2 KDE with dual monitors and I accidentally pressed Alt+D. Both screens blanked, though I saw a sliver of the previous screen on the left monitor. I saw the cursor still respond to my mouse but I really couldn't get anything else to work. I checked through all the standard and global keyboard shortcuts but didn't see Alt+D listed anywhere.

Does anyone know what Alt+D is supposed to do with the above configuration? How do I recover if it is possible at that point? What I did this last time was Ctrl+Alt+Bksp to reset my window manager... but I'm running two VMs constantly and that was bad news for them.

Help please! :)
