Forms in PDF

I want to be able to complete tax and other official .pdf forms like DMV applications etc in the PDF viewer.

I have done this on windows, is this possible on Linux mint? If not its a definite wanted feature.

Is there some other open source PDF viewer I can use to do this?

For tax purposes, PDFfiller should come in handy. For example, that's the tool for working with w9 forms exactly, and it's supported by the IRS, afaik. But MasterPDF takes the point here because it's free and works nicely as well, while PDFfiller is paid by monthly subscription. Hadn't tried the first one though

Sorry for replying so late, I guess the OP has already solved one way or another, but this may be of interest to someone else. Libreoffice Draw is very convenient for filling up pdf forms. Open the pdf document with Libreoffice Draw. You can then fill in forms that have suitable input boxes but you can also add text to any pdf document; double click the document until the cursor appears (up left) and enter carriage returns and spaces to move the cursor to the blank spaces you want to fill in. To save the document, choose Export to pdf in the File menu.
