Running Mint 17.3 Xfce.
Installed xfdashboard and I can't find the setting up a hot corner to spread windows. How is this done?
Xfce is my favorite desktop but the only thing I miss is a hot corner to spread out open programs. Is there something better?

Search engines are your friend:

There's also a hot corner plugin. It's called xfce4-hotcorner-plugin.
Both xfdashboard and xfce4-hotcorner-plugin are in the repos. I just looked in Synaptic. I won't install anything like that from anywhere else, despite what all those crappy linux blogs say.
I use xfce too but haven't tried them. Xfce is a light DE and I want to keep it that way. But go ahead.

Re: setting up xfdashboard
Thanks, I have both installed but its not that good. Cinnamon desktop has a nice hot corner program, too bad you can't use it in Xfce.
But it's not that important, so I'll probably won't use it. One day someone will develop a good one.
