Firefox is covering my gnome menu bars SOLVED

Postby madevan » Sat Jan 31, 2009 5:51 pm

Felicia - firefox 3.05 keeps stretching to the whole screen thereby denying me access to my gnome menu bars (top and bottom) - is it something I have done? Can it be fixed or are the firefox dimensions un governable. I have only just re-installed Mint 6 and it also happened in the old setup. Is this an undocumented feature of firefox or is it something I can fix?

Please help - I'm now considering SuSE again but after 18 months with Mint I am reluctant to change.

Thanks

This is a Compiz related bug. Turn Compiz off, open Firefox, then try turning Compiz back on.
