y-ppa-manager (Solved)

Post by Floktndr »

I have installed the webupd8team/y-ppa-manager to my computer which is running LM17.3. When I go to the Software Sources>PPAs>webupd8team/y-ppa-manager>open ppa, the page comes up completely blank. There is not one available program listed for this ppa. I've clicked the update button when it was available, which it isn't right now and used the command window to get updates for that ppa and nothing shows up. I'm thinking that I've missed something but have no clue as to what it is. The reason for getting a ppa is to download Seamonkey (if possible), I have quite a few .msg emails from my old computer that I would like to be able to access. Does anyone have any thoughts on this conundrum?

you should just be able to just download seamonkey from their website http://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/ i have never found it in the mint software manager and i have not found a PPA for seamonkey though you will usually find a PPA for most Linux programs
