Flashing stripes on KDE

Hi.

I'm using latest Linux Mint with KDE and I'm constantly getting some weird flashing stripes all over the screen. I though it was somehow related to the Flash browser plugin, but then I got it in Dolphin file manager as well.

What could be the problem?

I'm not sure. I simply downloaded torrent from here: http://blog.linuxmint.com/?p=2978

I'm a new Linux user, so if you could tell me how to check which version is installed I'll do it as soon as I get home.

Forgot to mention: I'm using laptop with AMD/Intel graphics.
