Package Qupzilla 2.0.0?

As a fanatic user of Qupzilla I am stuck with upgrading to the latest release 2.0.0
There are no pre-build packages anymore for Linux and to be honest, I have idea to build it myself.
Does anybody know where I can find a package for Ubuntu/Mint or can you give me guidance how to build it myself?

One click to the qupzilla download page gives the answer:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nowrep/qupzilla
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install qupzilla

That used to be that way, if it was that easy I didn't ask the question here 8)
When you look at the final release page you can read:
"From now on, I will stop providing Linux builds. This also means that my Ubuntu PPA will not get any new releases. I will still provide Windows builds.

You should install QupZilla from your distribution's repositories or build it yourself.
"

If a developer decides so, than it is so.

There are answers, just not the one you want to hear. What point is there to trying to run a browser that isn't going to get any more linux updates? Other types of app software may be different but you need an up to date browser.

Packages come either from the official repository (not in this case for current versions) or from the developer. If a developer decides to only provide builds for Windows, than no one can force him to provide Linux-builds. You have 3 choices:

1. You build it yourself.
2. You convince the developer to change his mind.
3. You choose another browser.

1) I tried to build but can't get it done (wish I could)
2) Don't think he wants to do that anymore, looking at his replies
3) No other browser has the speed from Qupzilla and believe me I tried a lot (Vivaldi, Slimjet, Slimboat, Midori, Chromium, Netsurf, Firfox etc etc)

Thanks anyway, don't think I will find the solution here.....................

It is getting updated but he is not pre building the packages anymore.
