[solved] Clipgrab in mint 18?

[solved] Clipgrab in mint 18?

Has anyone managed to get clipgrab working in mint 18?
The 3.6.1 that I had previously downloaded from https://clipgrab.org/worked in 17.3 but not in 18. I got an error saying no avconv or ffmpeg
I tried version Version: 3.6.1-1~removed1 from http://www.ubuntuupdates.org/clipgrab but no luck with that either. After I select a download and confirm the download directory the program just vanishes.

3.6.1-1~removed1 does work. I'm just so used to it remembering the format from the previous downloads that I hadn't realised the format box was empty. :oops: Once I selected mpeg4 it was all going again. Silently exiting the program isn't the most helpful error message . ;-)
