Hi,
i was wondering if there was a way of replacing icons with text on the desktop. I never was a fan of icons. On windows I used Rainmeter for this, on Android i have used Zooper widget and KLWP. I am looking for something similar for Linux. Something that let#s me create my own Widget ( or I think they are called Desklets). Does someone know a programm to do this?
Thank you
Having clickable text on my desktop as launcher instead of icons

A workaround is to create a completely transparent icon graphic and use that.
