Firefox - x missing

sounds stupid and probably is stupid but why did the minimise and close tab disappear.
the only way I can close Firefox is file then quit or close.

This is a problem with a theme and/or Compiz unless you have accidentally enabled kiosk mode - press F11 to check

when I hit F11 it will show the menu bar on top and bottom but when I reopen Firefox it is gone again.
any help Is appreciated.

I think I've seen setting to start Firefox in kiosk mode, but I can't find it
Try to google Firefox + kiosk mode

anyone know how to get it out of this garbage kiosk mode. I have searched and cant find anything

Well kiosk mode or fullscreen is the same
I looked in preferences but there is nothing for it - but
check "View" (in the FF menu) so that Fullscreen is not checked
