Hi everyone,
Trying to find the cause, why Network Managers (NM) WLAN MAC randomization does not work in Mint.
From this article by the developer of NM - https://blogs.gnome.org/lkundrak/2016/0 ... -networks/ it should have been available since the version 1.2 + wpasupplicant 2.4 which are installed in Mint 18.1 x64.
Can some suggest what is causing this?
Any help on this topic would be much appreciated!
Thanks.

Just an update. Version 1.2.6 is out. And this is still not working.
Any ideas at all, would be really helpful.

Many thanks Jeremy!!JeremyB wrote:I think the wpasupplicant version to make it work changed https://blogs.gnome.org/thaller/2016/08 ... ger-1-4-0/
You have cured the itch in my head of not knowing what was causing this!
(Also completely missed that as I did read that article, although sometime ago.)
Appreciated!
Edit: For anyone interested, the version of supplicant required is 2.6. Current Ubuntu version is 2.4.
