In Linux Lite I can create a desktop URL link by merely right-clicking anywhere on the desktop screen
and selecting 'create URL link' from the dropdown box.
How do I do this in Linux Mint Cinnamon?
Thanks in advance for any help

Just click the firefox url window and drag it to desktop
Everything in life was difficult before it became easy.

The red circle part, drag and drop it to your primary desktop. It doesn't work on the secondary desktop(monitor) for some reason. It works with Chrome too.

*sigh* - In my case, somehow my primary and secondary monitors are switched from FF's POV for this act only. I can drag to the secondary, but not to the primary. For everything else (user logon, where program windows - including FF - open, etc.) they act as expected.odtech wrote:The red circle part, drag and drop it to your primary desktop.
