Hi Everyone,

In Particular... Gramps...

If you end up here and are having issues with Mapping for starters, you may find Synaptics not helping.
However I strongly suggest you get on the Gramps mailer here> https://sourceforge.net/projects/gramps ... amps-users
and review the Gramps issues with LM here> viewtopic.php?t=220159
with extra files that are not loaded in LM (Linux Mint) as yet.

The Terminal commands can be copied and the explanation is relatively easy to follow.
If unsure ask in the Gamps e mailer. If your getting error messages prior to loading note the basics down and with the version your running and send them to the Gramps team to investigate. or try http://gramps.1791082.n4.nabble.com/ which is a little easier to email if unsure.

Thanks

Chris

Ahnenblatt is another free genealogy program from http://www.ahnenblatt.com/.
It's a windows based program but work very nicely from Wine. I've been using this one on my laptop when I'm traveling.
