I just installed the latest version of chrome-stable.deb (61.0.3163.91-1) . Installation went seemingly fine. Clicking on the icon in the menu does not open it, also tried with a terminal but it states "command not found".Synaptic shows chrome as installed
Need chrome instead of chromium in order to run skype web and hangout. All suggestions welcome.
Running Mint17.3 cinnamon updated with the latest linux firmware on an HP Pavillon 23

Typing this in the terminal gives me an error message,
In the mean time I installed chromium, it works fine and I found out that you can NOW use the skype and hangouts plug inns on chromium, thus fulfilling my needs
