Scratch Text Editor not working

After setting up the appropriate repositories and installing Scratch (the default text editor from elementary OS not the Programming system) and all it's dependencies, I am unable to locate the software in my menu and unable to launch it with the "scratch" command under a terminal.

I've searched google and came across:

I tried the above to no avail... It seems to install fine with no errors or requests for further dependencies, however, I can't seem to find it or execute it all. I also tried this: http://linuxg.net/how-to-install-elemen ... e-systems/ with the same results... not found or working after successful install. No other app/s is having this issue.
Can anyone else confirm this issue or provide a resolution? Please Advise
