Either geoclue2 is not installed, or it is not running yet when Redshift starts.
If you are sure it's installed, try giving Redshift a couple of seconds delay in the startup applications manager.
If not, install geoclue2.

Please check whether your location services had been turned on. After turning on location services redshift runs smoothly. Install geoclue-2.0 sudo apt-get install geoclue-2.0.. Please run another time from the terminal. If no problem is encountered then exit the terminal process and start redshift-gtk.

hi again,
anyone had good experience with geoclue?
i think that the redshit team need to fix some bugs.

by the way. do you mean typing "redshift-gtk" in the terminal?

"...i think that the redshit team need to fix some bugs..." An accident just waiting to happen, really. There is an F in Redshift but there is no F in chocolate.
Data stored in the volume will only be accessible with the correct password. If you lose this security key, all data will be lost.
