[SOLVED] Update Manager suggesting MATE items

Hello,

I am running 18.2 Cinnamon. This morning, the Update Manager has 3 recommended updates, but they are for MATE. Not sure if I should install them.

I noticed that mate-panel is a dependency of Cinnamon and all 3 packages are already installed so I doubt if installing the updates could cause major issues

if Cinnamon was to crash its wrapper would ask you if you want to launch it again or fallback. Among other things, the fallback is using mate-panel.
