Just tried to update (on mint 18.2. cinnamon) HPLIP with hp-doctor. But update failed because of
Insufficient permission to access file /etc/cups/ppd/Deskjet-F2200-series.ppd
. Saw on https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/327417
sudo chmod 644 /etc/cups/ppd/
could be a solution of the problem. Could I use indeed
sudo chmod 644
to give hp-doctor root permission in oder to finish update with HPLIP?
Hope someone could help out! Thanks a lot!
