{SOLVED}Thunderbird message copies not saved to sent folder

Thunderbird message copies not saved to sent folder. This just started happening today on all 3 of my computers. Any suggestions?

This problem isolated to email provider Windstream.net

Open the account settings and check the settings for copies & folders.

Settings are as should be on each of 3 computers. This problem happened overnight. I created a new save folder located under local and directed saved copies to the new folder. All copies are now saved to the new save folder. What I don't understand is what changed that necessitated this creation of a new save folder located under local. And why did it happed overnight on all 3 computers.

I get the following error messages: The current operation on Inbox did not succeed. The mail server for your account @windstream.net responded: Unrecognized command ID.

The other error message is: The current operation on sent did not succeed. The mail server for your account @windstream.net responded: Unrecognized command ID

It all depends on which folder my cursor is on.

"Over night"? Assumed, that you slept and the computers had been off I can only think of some change on the side of the mail-provider.

Mail provider claims they made no changes. Browser accesses email fine. Problem seems to only apply to Thunderbird. Perhaps after regular updates?

Hardly, other users would have the same problem.

Create a fresh new user account for testing (so your main account and the TB profile do not get affected) and set up inside TB for your mail-account and compare the behavior.
