Swap past limit
Look at the picture the swap partition says it's WAYYYY past it's limit. I'm worried.

Clearly, the value reported is the used space of the entire drive.

You might want to check for bug reports.mrmajik45 wrote: Anyway to fix it?

Try: "F5" to Refresh Devices,mrmajik45 wrote:Look at the picture the swap partition says it's WAYYYY past it's limit. I'm worried.
or View -> Refresh Devices if on V4,
or Tools -> Refresh Devices if on V5.
On the command line do one of the following (each will show swap usage):
- top or htop (q to exit)
- free -k which should match swapon -s (== cat /proc/swaps)
Re: Swap past limit
I restarted my pc and refreshed the device list I'll do the terminal one and report back
Re: Swap past limit
Swap seems all free. But how do i "fix" that glitch.mrmajik45 wrote:I restarted my pc and refreshed the device list I'll do the terminal one and report back
Re: Swap past limit
By "glitch" do you mean what KDE's partition manager is reporting?mrmajik45 wrote:Swap seems all free. But how do i "fix" that glitch.mrmajik45 wrote:I restarted my pc and refreshed the device list I'll do the terminal one and report back
If you go to the Help menu and select, "About KDE Partition Manager", what version is it? It should be at the top, just under the title.
If you are looking for a gui, KDE Infocenter also reports swap under Memory.
Bug 367473 - Partition Manager seems to show swap partition is using more than its size
Unless you are on the current version on LM, I'm not sure how you'd update it. Perhaps someone else may know. The good news, you don't have a problem

Re: Swap past limit
You cannot. All you can do is wait till a bug-fixed version will be released in the official software repositories.mrmajik45 wrote:But how do i "fix" that glitch.
Throwing out the baby with bath water?! - It is a display problem, nothing more. - Live with it for the time being.mrmajik45 wrote:Should i deactivate swap and remove it then reformat it?
