Hi,
I can't connect to my smb shares on my nas through the browser. I can if I manually connect with smbclient providing the networkname but not when I simply use smb://NAS/share/. It was working prior to me forcing smb min 2 and max 3. I did try to disable the unix extentions but it didn't help. No logs either on the client or the server provide any input as to whats going on.
Is there something else I should be checking? I believe it's possibly an issue with how mint is trying to negotiate the smb connection and not with the smb server itself, since I can connect via command line.
Thanks
*edit, I'm using Mint 18.2*

Re: SMB2/SMB3 on NAS can't connect
That is a very confusing post since I don't know what you are doing where:
Server or Client? Did you add this:It was working prior to me forcing smb min 2 and max 3.
Or this:server min protocol = SMB2
server max protocol = SMB3
Did you do one of the above to the NAS or did you do this to your Mint box?client min protocol = SMB2
client max protocol = SMB3
