(Solved) Resetting password on Keyring?

Post by jbh911 »

I've a few issues with Skype but have nearly got them sorted with a recent download and installation except I need to reset the password of Login Keyring. Currently I don't have a password for the Login Keyring and hence have to cancel that windows a few times to get Skype to open. The only problem then is I have to login to Skype each time I open it.

So, how can I make Login Keyring password something useful, ie reset it? I can't recall ever using it in the past, hence this problem.

Remove the old keyring and set a new one.

If you open the keyring in Seahorse you can right click the top most entry in the left pane; there you find the command to change the password.
