TimeShift data to CD/DVD/USB
What steps does one take to put data on USB (prefer) or CD/DVD from TimeShift after create, also to restore ... ?? Using Mint-Mate-64 bit-18.3 Sylvia and seems to be limited documentation for using TimeShift other than set-up via Wizard. Appreciate any help. I can use Linux image-writer and Etcher, just need to find the files necessary.

This sounds as if you are expecting a bootable image restoration cd or usb.I can use Linux image-writer and Etcher
Timeshift works differently. You must already be booted to use this.
In the event your system will not boot you can boot up using your install medium to get to a live desktop to restore your system.
When using Timeshift you must point the output directory to a partition--this can indeed be an external drive.
Everything in life was difficult before it became easy.
