Nemo crashing

Post by rymar »

Everytime I try a wildcard search in Nemo it crashes. Sometimes as soon as I enter character Nemo closes. I can type in anything in my case i was looking for an older pdf file. So I type in "*pdf, .pdf or even just plain pdf" it crashes. Occasionally it will start a search and freeze. This only apparently started recently. This is a very new fresh install of 18.3.

My system
$ inxi -Fxz

Have been using Linux on and off for most of twenty years. Seen the good, the bad and..well...the ugly. Switched to Mint several years ago. Prior to that used Kubuntu. Currently I'm co-chair of the Vernon BC Canada Linux Users Group.
