Like it says in the very first sentence, "This repository may no longer be available..."

Use Software Sources to select new local mirrors, and to remove duplicated sources.

Solve this mess in one stroke:

1. Launch the application Software Sources.

2. Down below, on the right, click the button "Restore the default settings".

3. Finally, press the button "Update the cache" (on the upper right).

Hi, ScoRch.

You have not followed the advice to get rid of the duplicate entries.
Plus there is a dummy entry in your original sources list files somewhere pointing to packages.domain.com.

If you follow Pjotr's advice of using Software Sources to reset your sources list files to the default values, both issues should be elminated.
Yet, you have to close all applications like Software Manager, Synaptic and Update Manager.
Next you use Software Sources and follow Pjotr's advice.
Only afterwards you may open Update Manager again and see whether refreshing the software list works again.

Karl

Hi, karichen

I actually did what Pjotr and you wrote but I am really getting the same error.
I tried to change mirrors for czech or slovak but still the same error.

Open the PPA page in software sources and disable all entries. Again click to refresh the cache.

So I disabled all entries in PPAs and in Additional repositiries and this worked. Then I enabled all entries in PPA and this worked too. Now I am able to check updates. So I am gonna try to enable additional repositories one by one

Edit: I enabled first entry in additional repositories "domain" pressed update cache and I got an error. So where is the roblem?

Most likely the problem is this PPA.

Now I I have disabled all Additional repositories and enabled all PPAs, is that bad? May it cause some issues? Now I am using Linux for Cisco purposes only but in the future I want to use it as primary OS

Disabling all additional repositories is not a problem; by default they are not enabled.

If the PPAs give a problem depends from the PPAs, a general answer is not possible.
