Have you checked the Wine website's database to see if that program will run in Wine?

Been a while since I did this, but as I recall it's just three steps.

1. Per website, for 64 bit Ubuntu (and therefore Mint), run sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386 in Terminal.

2. After installation, an entry for Wine will be added to Menu. For a repo install, configure Wine will be one of the items on the list. Alternatively, and the only way for a ppa install, run winecfg in Terminal.

3. Somewhere along the way, you'll be prompted to install Mono and Gecko, which generally you will need.

If that doesn't do it (meaning my recollection is faulty), take a look at the User's Guide.

And are you aware that anything rated less than Gold on that database will run like crap?

Yes but test results on https://appdb.winehq.org can be old so you should always check if the program or game works with latest Wine version.

Great. I saw that it's listed as Gold in the Wine Database.

You should be all set with instructions from dark and pbear.
