how to set a limit to max kernel count

Post by tux-berlin » Sat Feb 24, 2018 6:38 am

Hello Mint Fan's and developer,

It is god and nice that we all get new kernel, thanks for this.
i have a problem whit the handling of kernel updates.
currently i have 27 kernel on/in my System that is a lot.

What can i do that the system holds only 3 or 5 old kernel?
i do not want to remove them by hand.
So that if a new kernel is coming that a old one has to go away

thanks

You can use the update manager to remove individual kernels. You'll find a Kernels option listed in the menus.

Alternatively you can remove all but one with Many old redundant kernels? Remove them all in one stroke
