I am new with Guayadeque, so itś possible that there is some indicator in the My Music view but I couldn´t find it tonight.
I´ve installed nightingale both from the repository and via gdebi. The repo version 1.13 does not have lyrics editing baked in and the Mlyrics add-on ¨is incompatible with this version¨ So, I tracked down the previous version, 1.12.1 which I had been using, installed it and the lyrics editor is present but the player won´t play any of my mp3 collection.
I did try clementine and it shows the already embedded lyrics in many of my mp3ś but doesn appear to offer the ability to add lyrics with a built in lyrics editor. Here is the relevant readme information from the nightingale tarball I am trying to build.
*To build, you need to have all of the gstreamer0.10 packages for your
distro, svn, wget, and git (if pulling the tree down) installed,
as well as the usual dependencies for building software upon your
*If it gets python errors, make sure you have python2 installed,
and try the build.sh script again. NO PYTHON ERRORS
*If it doesn't play music, you'll need to copy /usr/lib/gstreamer0.10/* I can copy this folder, or its contents but have no idea what the next line means
into compiled-dist-linux-[your arch]/dist/gst-plugins and then
rerun nightingale. It should then play music.
If on Linux, simply run the build.sh script. It will download the deps
and build the app for you. You'll generally need the usual build deps
for most software packages, though. Here's the error at the end of running build.shI think I can handle the rest of this IF I can figure out the line in redMakefile:112: recipe for target '/home/kenneth/Desktop/nightingale-media-player-nightingale-hacking-9b9c8bf/compiled/config.status' failed

you'll want to use
