Plank Dock

I was playing with settings in plank and selected autohide. The dock hid itself and now I can't get it to unhide.
I tried purging it and reinstalling with no change. Is there a way to bring up the settings menu from the terminal?
Or how I could get it working

Probably find and delete it's settings to make it re-appear:

Code: Select all

find $HOME -iname "*lank*"
or

Code: Select all

find $HOME -iname "*dock*"
OR! Find those files and look at them in a text editor and fix settings that look bogus (x,y off the screen, etc)>
I tried purging it and reinstalling with no change.
That won't fix problems with user settings, though it can help in other cases.

IIRC,

Code: Select all

plank --preferences
should bring up the settings.
Hope this helps.
