[SOLVED] Firefox 59.0.2 issues

Post by mtj »

Do any of you have problems with the latest Firefox update?
Web Spotify does not play the next song in a playlist at the end of the previous one.
From time to time eats a huge amount of memory (up to 2.5 GB) without reasonable explanation.
No problem with 59.0.1 with the same addons.
I tried to create a new profile but the problem was not solved.

Strange, because one of the fixes in the latest version is to solve a high memory problem in some situations. I cannot comment from own experience, because I use FF ESR.

If a new profile does not solve the problem you might create a fresh new user account and check there.

Many thanks Cosmo. I did something similar: disabled Account Sync; about:support > refresh firefox; restarted with no addons at all; added only one strictly needed addon (ublock origin).. it seems to be solved till now, altough is too soon to say.
I'll monitoring for a few days.
Thanks again :)

Edit: it seems to work all fine till now. Marked as solved
