Hi all. I try to use chromecast from vlc in my mint distro. I see VLC 3.0 has this feature, but no VLC 3.0 in debian, ubuntu and mint packages. Anybody knows when it will be available ? And for now, how to use chromecast on 2.x version, if possible (command line) ? Thanks

There is apparently a PPA for the daily build, version 4.0.0-rc1 here:
