This is the first time this has happened to me, and not quite understanding why?
I wanted to make a 18.3 Mint Cinnamon Flash Drive so I can flash a Dell laptop to experiment with.
I ran TuxBoot from my ASUS Linux 18.3 Cinnamon laptop:
TuxBoot went through all the motions of selecting the *.iso that I needed.
The slide rule went across and "hangs up" on file # 255 which I have come to think of as "the kernel" because it takes so blessed long to get past that point, every time I make a Mint Flash drive. Then it just zips right along, like it does always and finishes up... then exits....
But, this time, the stick is not bootable.
The laptop is set up to seek the USB stick first to boot, and it gives a message "No Operating System found" and then it goes on to boot up the Mint Mate version of 18.3 which is the laptop's OS.
Any ideas why TuxBoot would fail to create a bootable Flash drive from the *cinnamon.iso ??

No, but I use this: https://etcher.io/

Re: TuxBoot failed to make a bootable 18.3 Flash Drive
2 positives on Etcher.
1: it cloned the .iso to the flash drive and made it bootable.
2: it renamed the flash drive to the same name as the .iso
Very Impressed.
Thanks,
TuxBoot works on Win7, but not so hot on Linux.
I am now using the Dell laptop on 18.3 Cinnamon.
