Hello guys. I was trying to install Wine from their website. Of course, it needed the sources.list. But then I just saw that it can't because of /etc/apt/sources.list. I was like, "God f*** you!" I kept repeating until I raged and I deleted the sources.list and sources.list.d. Then I realized that that made matters worse. I tried making the file sources.list and sources.list.d again, but it's still there, that freaking error.
So instead, I just tried finding a replacement for it and I found a .deb file. I tried installing it. But it threw the same error too! I searched through the internet how to fix this, but no success. Can someone please help me?
My Linux Mint Version is 18.2.
And God, even the Welcome Screen stopped working!!!

Oh and by the way, when I tried experimenting if it's okay in the terminal:
Code: Select all
a_linux_user@LMToshi2 ~ $ sudo apt-get install pacman
[sudo] password for a_linux_user:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: The package libsamplerate0:i386 needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive for it.

Try opening the Software Sources application and under Offical Repositories click on Restore the default settings and then on Update Cache. Hopefully that will restore your sources to default.
