[SOLVED] Problems to update from update manager (Target Packages multiples times..)

Post by klas88 » Tue Jun 19, 2018 11:06 am

I can not update my Linux Mint 18.3 Sylvia for a long time from update manager. Neither have I been able to update Gimp by following the instrucion (https://ubunlog.com/instala-la-nueva-ve ... 18-04-lts/) from Terminal with Flatpak, and I guess this error will be related.

W: Target Packages (non-free/binary-amd64/Packages) is configured multiple times in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list:1 e /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list:2

W: Target Packages (non-free/binary-amd64/Packages) is configured multiple times in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list:1 e /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list:2
Active apt sources in file: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list
deb https://deb.opera.com/opera-stable/ stable non-free
deb https://deb.opera.com/opera-stable/ stable non-free
Hi klas88,

Open Software Sources from the application menu.
Click on "Additional repositories". You will find two entries for "opera-stable". Delete one of them. Close the window.
Open a terminal and run:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update
Good luck!
