lbreakout2 game (SOLVED)

Post by fletcher »

I enjoy lbreakout2, but for the last few days it won't load when I try to open it. Starts to open, then closes. Worked fine up until a few days ago, and I have not changed anything, so do not know why it quit.

I have tried completely removing it and re-installing, but it did not help.

I am running Mint 18.3 with Cinnamon.

Hi fletcher,

1.) You can try removing the user configuration folder for this application using the command below, then restart the game which will recreate the user configuration folder, but you will loose high scores and settings. This game when switched to "fullscreen" mode rearranged all my desktop icons (widgets) out of place in my KDE 18.3 system?

Code: Select all

sudo rm -r ~/.lgames/
2.) There are usually other "breakout" games available in the "Synaptic Package Manager (SPM)" that you might consider trying as well like "kbreakout", etc...

Hope this helps...

Thank you both. Something worked, because I can open it again. And the high scores had gotten out of hand anyway, kind of nice to start over.
