Looking for a good landscape and Deck Planner.

Post by WLytle »

Hello, I am not a professional landscaper, but I want to find a program I can use on Linux Mint to design a deck and my landscape, but also document existing issues around my house. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

well - there's the eDraw which is an efficient all-in-one garden plan software for Linux,
but - - that'l cost you too much :(

actually there is the Yates Virtual Garden Design tool - as well,
but you do have to Sign in to the Yates Garden Club to use that.
- - is the Yates Garden Products range available - where you are ?

also2: maybe poke through Package Manager AKA synaptic to see what is in there.

I did manage to convince Sketchup to work using PlayOnLinux, however, there are a number of free alternatives in Synaptic, some may be of use.
