Upgraded to Tara with no issues.
However, now the appearance of Pan and Thunderbird have changed and they look "washed out". Even though the font color is set to black, it seems to look more gray.
Can't see anything under settings that would explain it.
Other apps (gedit, Chrome) seem OK.
Also the font for the terminal has changed (but I can deal with that).

Fix for Pan tabs issue in v 0.144-1
If you have upgraded to Tara (Mint 19) and use Pan, and discover that now you tabs have gone weird and make the program unusable, then download the appropriate .deb package for 0.139-5build1, and install that. Fixes the issue. Better that waiting for a never bugfix
Re: Upgrade to "Tara" - Pan and Thunderbird appearance changed
I have no idea why these two separate issues have been conflated ?????
Have solved the washed out issue - Mint 19 seems to have a default theme of "Mint Y" for buttons. Going to Contro Centre->Themes->Buttons and changing back to "Mint X" restored the look of Mint 18.3 (which I liked).
