Hello, I am running Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa, with KDE Platform Version 4.14.2 and downloaded Kstars Version 2.2.0 from the Mint software Manager and I do not see EKOS in the download. Anyone else have experience with this?
I downloaded Kstars specifically for camera control. I purchased a Celestron Neximage 10, which came with a windows program called iCap which I tried to install and run with WINE, but it does not recognize the USB camera. Tried it on my desktop that still has Windows and it works fine there, but I am trying to avoid using Windows. I like Mint. It is a USB 3.0 cmos camera. It appears Kstars EKOS may work with this type of camera but EKOS didn't show up. Any ideas? Did I install Kstars incorrectly?
