Hi,
System is Mint 18.3 Xfce Sylvia
Have installed 'Autodesk Meshmixer'. This software is Win an OS only.
Running it with Wine it got completely installed and placed two icons on my desktop. One is a lnk file and the other is to launch the software(I think)
Used both icons to start this software but nothing happens at all.
is there something I should do additionally to launch that software..?
I also run VirtualBox and W7. But Autodesk Meshmixer cannot run in VB/W7 because the correct video-driver is not present in W7. I already ran 'Guest additions' to no avail.
Thanks
Chris

Re: Meshmixer in Wine
Someone advised me to try POL to run 3party software. I might just do that.
Re: Meshmixer in Wine
Just ran Meshmixer at last.
Using standard Meshmixer settings it will not run at all.
Enabling Basic rendering I got it to work in W7.
Solved..? Well not exactly, but I do run it in VirtualBox/W7 now.
So there's no need anymore to look for a Linux-solution.
Anyway, if there's someone out there running Meshmixer in Linux, please let me know...
Thanks..!
