I havent used it, although it sounds really great. Below is what I found in relation to support by Linux for this software.

"This version of the Splashtop Streamer supports Ubuntu 12.10 and 12.04; currently there is no support for other versions of Ubuntu or other Linux distributions"

"Splashtop Streamer for Linux is not officially supported (not covered under support agreements and technical support is not available)"

"There are no plans for updates or additional platform support for the Linux streamer at this time."

Hello all,
I too use Splashtop and did a search on their help system and found this info:

Does Splashtop support linux?

Splashtop does not currently support linux OS. However, since Splashtop Business does support a "Chrome app", a linux user can use the Chrome Business app to make connections to other computers (Windows/Mac) with the streamer program installed and logged in.

If you need to have remote access into a linux computer, there is an old unsupported alpha/beta build that you can try at your own risk. It only has features for the Personal service.

https://www.splashtop.com/linux

Due to priorities, there is no near-term schedule for a linux streamer. Please vote on the linux feature request or add a feature request in our Community area:

I'll try the above at some point and update this thread
