my numerous searches didn't lead to solutions to what I'm trying to solve, therefore decided to ask here; The Cairo dock forum seems to be dead or to be more precise: most new posts seems to be spam/ads.
Here is what I try to achieve:
- LM19 Cinnamon with taskbar permanently visible at the bottom of the screen
- Have Cairo dock at the bottom of the screen as well with no vertical pixel offset from the bottom screen edge; dock set to autohide and once triggered by moving mouse pointer to bottom screen edge have it pop out overlaying/on top of/covering the Cinnamon task bar.

Thanks for tips and hints on how to achieve this.

P.S.: Maybe I should add that one can in fact place both at the bottom of the screen but then unfortunately the Cairo dock is behind the task bar, partly covered the bar.
