Unable to get Transitions or Export video with shotcut

Post by FFIXCollector » Tue Aug 14, 2018 6:12 pm

Running Mint 19 with Cinnamon 64-bit
I have no transitions in the Shotcut app, and I get this error when trying to export:

Code: Select all

/usr/bin/nice: ‘/app/bin/qmelt’: No such file or directory
Any Ideas?

Not sure which was the fix but I think it was a combination.

Install the below packages and their dependencies
Wavpack, speex, flac, gnome-video-effects, gnome-video-effects-extra, gnome-video-effects-frei0r, qtbase5-dev-tools, swh-plugins, mcp-plugins, qt5-qmake-bin, libqt5xdgiconloader3, qt5-default, libqt5designercomponents5

Create a symlink for qmeltr
sudo ln -s /usr/bin/melt /usr/bin/qmelt

Add user to audio,video group
